Installed Factory Center Console Today

Took about 1.5 hours with breaks.

Very easy to do.

It's expensive....but once you get it out of the box, it's a pretty serious piece of interior equipment. Very nice.

Used SAE equivalents for the mm drill sizes directions call for. Worked no problem.

A nice factory touch to the interior, if pricey!

Steve

Worked!

That mark on the lefthand side of the console, the verticle one, wasn't by me! I didn't leave a scratch anywhere. A perfect install. Came from the factory like that!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Nice install. I want to get one, but I have nothing to put in there.

How well does it blend with the rest of the furniture?

Even if you don't put anything in it, its primary function is as a very comfortable armrest. The small storage space is secondary. It is good for keeping some quarters and dollar coins for parking meters, they change doesn't rattle around noisily in there.

I was worried about the color blending with the rest of the car before I bought mine, but it looks great in the 2012 sport interior.

+1 Metal. Took the words right out of my mouth actually.

It's the comfort of the armrest. Storage is minimal. I keep my sunglasses in there and they fit snug at that.

Stock armrest was cheap and uncomfortable.

Now both you and the passenger have an armrest, too. A little tight and you have to share, but it's there!

Matches perfect in color to the ret of the interior. It is a Honda factory part. So it better! I think even if the car is 3+ years old, with fading, it will still match.

Yes....odd on the marking. Comes from the factory no doubt. Personally, I didn't pull the factory wrapping off the upper portion/padded portion, until install was complete. No way I put that there.

I waited a little while to get one but am glad that I've had one for the past two years or so. I was a little disappointed with how small the cargo space is, you can't really fit much in there to be honest, but like you I can fit two pairs of sunglasses in there no problem. Which is what I only use it for.

Definitely like the fact that it's beefy and actually screws into the frame of the car. Don't like that it was a little pricey and is not included with the car because it really should be...
