Mesh Grill Stopped a.....

Pidgeon today.

Just noticed looking at the pic that it actually bent back the alum support tubes I had. Couldn't find it anywhere but I didn't see it come out under the car either so I'll keep looking for it.

There were 2 of them in the middle of the road checking something out. Thought they would move but they didn't.

Nice one! I wonder if it went up in a puff of feathers like the one that got hit by a Randy Johnson fastball. Randy Johnson Hits Bird - YouTube

Do you have any more pix of the aluminum support posts. Attach points, length, etc.

Ha! That's awesome! No it wasn't quite like that. I think I was only going about 30. They just dissappeared. I think one got away. The other one probably fell off the next time I hit the brakes

Here you go. This was on my white Fit but its the same. Tubes are a little longer than the mesh is tall and the mesh is a little bit wider than the opening on the base fit.

It stopped that feather? WOW!

Btw- the pideons broke the deal, so it was their fault. The deal is they fly out of the way in the road and we look the other way with their statue defication.

Come on, let's be real. I'm more interested in where your license plate frame from.

Thanks--my mesh just arrived the other day--now I'm just waiting for my Fit to arrive so I can put it on. The reinforcing struts are a nice add on, and they really work. Did any of the zip ties break?

That's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw them in the road.

It's just a 9 dollar plastic frame from autozone with a seventies honda motorcycle emblem stuck to it.

Not sure what gauge the mesh is. It's just standard gutter guard.

+1
Similar thing happened to me on my motorcycle. My garage was getting progressively stinky so I investigated and found this. Happened 3-4 days prior to me finding it. I had to use needle nose pliers to get his legs out of the vent louvers. OP being from Ohio will know this bird.
