Bolt-on wheel covers for base stock wheels?

haven't found any posts or google results about this, let me consult the hive mind...

i am not ready to get new wheels for my '12 fit base, but the only thing i don't love about it are the wheel covers.

so i am looking at what some styling replacements might be. maybe oldie chrome half-moons, maybe some completely inappropriate vintage edsel hubcaps or the like that happen to fit.

i also like the idea of using bolt-on honda covers from a civic, etc., that use the same bolt config, but i know with bolt-ons the depth, etc., have to be right or they don't work.

wondering if anyone has had any success with bolt-on wheel covers, or any other creative solutions... thanks for any info or suggestions

I went with these for my winter steelies. They are plastic and inexpensive. Got them on Ebay somewhere.

I do not have them anymore and since have had my Steelies powder coated and using center caps

I was going to do this, but changed my mind, so maybe you'll do it
