What are some "plug and play" horns? Besides the Accord ones.

First thread!

I bought a 13' Base Model Fit couple of weeks ago and was thinking about swapping the horn. I have absolutely no experience with ANY wiring, relays, all those good stuff. I am willing to learn though so if there is someone who is willing to teach me like I am five, I will be greatly appreciated.

So back on topic, what are some alternative plug and play horns for my Fit? Pics & Links preferred

I did, but I have no knowledge on how to put together a relay and stuff so I can only install plug and play horns. I'm a car noob

Check the other thread for my reply. No one is going to teach you like you are 5, but there is a ton of info on the internet if you are willing to put in the time and effort to teach yourself.
My installation was my first time working with a relay or with wire connectors, but I did a LOT of homework before I attempted it.
If you are not comfortable doing it on your own, there's no shame in paying a shop to do it. It's much cheaper than electrical problems down the road.

The Accord horn is an easy swap, but some have complained about the db level being a little low.

If I'm not mistaken the Ridgeline horn also works.

If I buy an OEM Honda Accord horn online, any idea how much it would cost for someone to do the swap. Would I have to go to a Honda Dealer or do you think any shop can do this quickly.

Anyone with two working hands and arms should be able to do this fairly quickly. I mean if they can work a screwdriver they're good to go. I don't mean to offend, but this really is as easy as it gets.

it does help to have metal brackets available and spade connectors, crimper, taps, etc if you have it.

luckily for me, the G's horns came with its own brackets. i just had to make the mounting hole a tad larger to mount onto the GE.

here are the infiniti hi and low snails wired up. you dont necessarily need the ground wired up like this, but since the snails had spades, i just used them.

Not sure if this is a dumb question but are these horns the same as the meep noise when you lock the door with the keyless remote?

Nope. That's a separate horn under the driver's side headlight.

Yep. Same type of plug from what I saw. You could do an accord horn there for a deeper lock sound. I don't mind the high-pitched shriek of the stock "lock" note.

It literally took me 5 minutes to do the swap with a 2010 Accord horn. It took as long to remove the upper plastic panel as it did to replace the horn.
