The jerk at the garage put some scratches on my stock 09 Sport wheel rims (actually one of the rims). Does anyone know a particular touch-up paint that would match the silver color? I would like to take care of this asap. Thanks

 

No one? I do plan on going to an auto parts store today, but I'm not the best in tying to match a color.

 

I am under the impression that the alloy wheels were not painted, and the silverish color is merely the color of the aluminum alloy. There could be some sort of an anodized finish on them. In either case, you'll have a very hard time finding a paint that matches.

They are definitely painted or powdercoated (IDK what they use), the alloy would not look like that.

I'd just look for a 'bright silver metallic' or something along those lines.

i too would like to know where i can source the paint. my wife uses these parking garages downtown with valet and they did wonders to my 09's wheels

 

Well, I ended up using the touch-up paint that I had for my 204 Ford Sporttrak...which is silver in color. Not perfect but not bad either.
