Financing was through what the dealership offered--- American Honda. Better rate than my bank ...

Very nice, the dealer only offered me 1.99 but I could've gotten 1.49 thru Pen Fed. I just went w the dealer's offer for convenience.

I got the PenFed .49% going through their buying service. Much more convenient than the dealer. Picking it up tomorrow!!!

Is that .49 or 1.49% ? I saw 1.49 when I looked. Either way that's an awesome rate, good for you!! What I meant by convenience was that I was already at the dealer wheelin and dealin and hadn't actually went through Pen Fed's application process yet. So when the dealer offered 1.99 and I was already there I said heck with it it's such a minor difference like a couple dollars a month. Enjoy your new Fit!!

@bisquick: I'm also coming from a Mini (R50). What are your thoughts so far?

Just picked up a 2013 Fit Sport AT Nav TW. $20033 + $390 license/fees + $1963 taxes. $22386 OTD.

0.49% for month of October provided you use their buyers service. And the application process is really very easy. And almost instantly after you hit submit, they give you the approval (or denial). But I had a extra hour and a half drive because none of the dealers in the Buffalo area were affilated or did not have what I wanted.

Wow, that's the best rate I've heard of on a Fit! Maybe I should've been more patient, but I'm still happy to be under 2%. is a buyer service where they find the car for you or what?

I'm liking it a lot so far, but I've only put 60 miles on it.

I miss some options on the Mini like the sport suspension, heated seats, parking sensors, and heated mirrors .But I think I can take care of some of this with aftermarket parts. I won't miss the Mini repair costs.

From my experience with Fits you shouldn't be paying out hardly anything in repairs or maintenence which is a major plus! And you can haul a hell of a lot of stuff in the Fit if need be.

PenFed uses Haggle-Free Car Buying Experience from Local Dealers - TrueCar Buying Service. You give them your zip code, the make and model of car you want with options, and they find you the car you want at one of their certified dealers. They issue you a haggle-free, no hassle, price certificate that the dealer has to accept.

Got 39.7 mpg coming home the 99 miles from Rochester!

Angry 2013 Fit ipod issue

Just purchased my 2013 Fit Sport, OTD $18,400 in Durham, NC. Crappy buying experience. Not holding my breath on the service to come. I just took my happy little self out to my new car to interface my older ipod nano with the cool little USB port in the mini-glove box and found a lovely 'unsupported version' message on the screen of my 18K car. G-dimmit!!!! Anybody got an answer out there?

I've got an older Nano and it works. Perhaps you can try and do a reset on the nano. A reset worked for me with another iPod after it stopped working after a month of using it.

Thanks for the prompt reply, not sure how to 'reset' the little bugger? I was going to call Honda in the a.m. and see if they had any answers.

Just press middle home button and menu button on wheel together for 10 seconds or so....

Thanks for the input from all! I went to Apple's website last nite and realized what I had was an ipod Shuffle not a Nano....I am not very tech savvy to say the least. I downloaded the latest version of itunes today and tried to update, the system said it detected an ipod device that was corrupted....arrrrrgh! Back to square one I guess, I have no idea what's going on now....I will just play cd's and kick it 'old school'!

Just picked up a 2013 Honda Fit Base Model with A/T in Milano Red. Dealer add ons were a cargo cover, mud guards, and pin striping. Ended up at $17K even OTD.

I just bought a 2012 PMM Fit Sport with Navi, can't wait to get it.
There is no difference between the 2012 and 2013 Fits, and the US FIts are still made in Japan, Canadian Versions are made in China.
I have a US 2012 Fit sport
Canadian Fits made in China? Says who? Do you have any proof of this?
