2013 Honda Fit Buyers checkin! post pics and OTD price!
Hey guys, couple of month stalker here.
I just got home from pulling the trigger on getting a 2013 Honda Fit Base auto, in Taffetta White. Sale price was $14,420.78, processing fee of $489, sales tax of $388.99 (Alabama state and county tax of 2.25%), business tax of $44.73 (bought out of state). OTD was $15,350. Pretty good deal considering I'd been pitting dealers against each other for over a week, and had actually been contacting and researching them for a month.

Just picked up this little gem today from my local Honda dealer in Charlotte, NC.
2013 Honda Certified Fit Sport with 4220 miles, manual, no nav, with the red H's, lol. Sale price....$14,900 and OTD at $15,600.
I think I stole it, lol. I think someone messed up and put the wrong price on the internet. They hit me up at $17,800 then i showed them the ePrice on my phone. Not much negotiating after that, lol.

Hi everyone. I am a newly registered and first time poster. I bought a new 2013 Fit automatic for $15,000 otd. no state taxes. no trade in. I qualified for $500 off by financing with them. (0.9%) for 5 years.
2013 Base
Bought a used 2013 Fit Base, Honda Certified, yesterday. Got the car at Honda of Superstition Springs in Mesa, Arizona. Had 3490 miles on it. Gray with gray interior, 5 M/T. (Looks like the car pictured above, only with steelies & plastic wheel covers.) Even has cruise control. We put $7400 down and financed balance thru USAA (I'm a Vet). Out the door price was $17,708, which included $1200 for extended warrenty. Didn't want to get the warrenty at first, wife thought it was a good idea, so... Sales guy, Paul Ramlal, is a Vet and member of USAA, and he treated us good. We used USAA car buying service to find the car and took a price certificate when we went to the dealer. I really like this little car. Have to get used to driving a stick again, but it is a fun car to drive.
Wife says do not add anything to it. What, no wheelie bars????

-Tints
-Cargo Tray
-Honda side strip

I'm actually a Personal Finance blogger and wrote about my buying experience recently over at Straight Financial. It is a two part series, but if you interested, part 2 covers my negotiation tactics for anyone in the market. I'm hoping others will benefit from these tips and get the best deal on their new Fit. I love mine!

Cross post from another thread, but Bought my first new car last Friday.
2013 Black Fit Base, 5MT
Worked them down to $15k OTD, think it could have been better if I had another day to negotiate with the neighboring dealers. I didn't care how they broke it down, VA has some BS Dealer Processing Fee which was 200-500 depending on the dealer, just cared about OTD.
Break Down
Car - 14138.10
Dealer Fee - 199
VA Tax - 573.48
Tags/etc - 89.42
credit - 288.42 (from dealer, canceled out the dealer fee and tags)
