ok so I did some research and the news is all over the net. Looks like canadian consumers are getting the shaft once again! Apparently the Fit will be made in Mexico in 2014! Will it be the new Honda Ajuste?

Picked mine up early October
2013 Polished Metallic Fit Sport A/T. $20k OTD with Xzilon, All-weather mats, Leather console/shifting knob, extended warranty, and Neoprene rear seat cover (for the dogs).
Bought it with 11 miles on it, already up to 2200. Bought a 16gb flash drive and loaded it up for permanent music. Loving everything about the car. Even the horn--we've decided to name it Beaker. Would post pics but new member, can't figure out how to add image to the post.

Picked mine up yesterday
I just picked up my Fit and I love looking at it. Unfortunately, they didn't have the original color I wanted which was TW or MR. Since another one in either color wasn't going to come around for supposedly another 6 months. I got Vortex Blue OTD at 19.5k.

First post here! Picked up a Vortex Blue Pearl Fit Sport M/T today for a base price of $16,744 including destination. Traded in my Subaru Legacy GT, so my OTD price is a bit skewed. Without the trade, I think I would have been OTD around $18,700. Trading in my car saved me over $1000 in sales tax.

Just got my fit sport A/T in TW today. Dealer was Honda Manhasset in long island. Below is price break down.
Price: $18,525 (includes center arm rest and all weather floor mats)
Tax:$1,597.78
NY inspection: $10
NY Tire fee: $12.50
DMV: $200
Total Cost: $20,345.28

Picked up my PMM 2013 Fit Base M/T last week, had 8 miles on it. Base price $15215, $16505 OTD that included tax, title, and the $250 scammy "doc" fee for OH. Included splash guards. Got cargo cover online and have ordered floor mats from WeatherTech. Now looking for seat covers for the rear seats for my dogs.

US fits still made in Japan, while the Canadian ones are made in China...booo
but eventually all Honda fits will be made in Mexico, 2014 or 2015 model year.

I went to the Honda dealership in San Leandro, California this evening and they said "We can't give a better price than the sticker of $18,700 + tax + DMV fees " for a 2013 Sport Fit with A/T.
My answer was, so you really don't want my money ????????? Answer: we only make $400 dollars over cost on a Fit.
Maybe I will go back and see if all weather floor mats and an extended warranty may come into the picture for their asking price ????
I won't buy any of the extras from the dealership as they can be ordered on-line for a big discount on the price.

Used 2012 Fit Sport for $15,800 OTD
I purchased a used 2012 Fit Sport, MT on Friday 12-28-12 for $15,800 OTD in High Point, NC. The car had 11,900 miles on it and I love it. This is my first Fit and reminds me of my old Civic from back in early 80's (yea I am old).
Lots of new Fit deals out there, but I found this used one I couldn't pass up (14,750) for the car. I got it at a Mazda dealer!
