2013 Sport, Auto.

Everything is awsome but few questions.

A/C seems to rub lots of power and the car feels "different" . When coasting with a/c, it seems like the car is engine breaking Now there is one thing I'm not sure about. Coming to a stop (I think 3-2 downshift) the rpm drops to 500 and goes back up to normal and the car slows down, there is no hesitation or feeling like its about to die..., without the a/c is around 700ish.

Is this normal?

Yeah other than that I love the car ...But the power below 3,500rpm with a/c on or not is just pathetic

You can really feel the V-Tec kick in thou and this is coming from a 94' SHO owner

my 09 AT is the same way.

with my 12 MT, i can decide where i want the powerband to be when i engage the clutch (gently or instantaneously) so gives me more power off the line.

I have to admit I guess it's just me getting old etc etc, but for what I've been using my 2013 Sport for so far the power for me has been fine. I guess part of that is because my other vehicle has 170Hp and two wheels so I guess I'm spoiled there.

While I've had plenty of cars over the years many with very high horsepower to weight ratios I have to say for what I use my Fit for it's perfect. I actually don't think I've even had it past 3K RPM yet.

I mean 2/3 on the throttle and the pick up is not that bad its just when you floor it from that point, you epxecting beaing pushed in to the seat which doesnt happen... its like ohhh, you're trying to go fast? here, 5 more horse power, but you must get to 70,000rpm to get it . I can't imaging having 8 less hp like the 1st gen. It must be torture with getting on to the highway. Specially here in Dallas area where everyone drives 70mph +

yah, the trick for me to enjoy my 09 AT is to put it in "D" and drive normally and not push it. or i just sit shotgun.
