Removing or disabling DRl function?

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable or to remove the DRL (Day Time Running Light) function on my 2012 Fit? Its not playing nice with my HID kit so id like to disable that feature so it doesn't burn out my Bi-Xenon HID prematurely since its always on. Any insight would be appreciated thanks!

Hmm there is a fuse specific to the DRL huh? Ill have to get a look at that during lunch time. On toyota cars its not as easy, there is a relay to deal with.

Don't be confused... just pull the fuse for the DRL. It is a dedicated fuse, reserved only for the DRLs.

That is one of the first mods I did to my Fit when I got it. I was reading some things in the manual, I saw there was a dedicated fuse for the DRL, and I pulled it... hadn't even owned it for 24 hours at that point.

Don't have a major problem with DRLs... I would just rather not have lights on during the day.

Pull the #15 fuse from the driver side under dash fuse box. If I remember correctly it should be a 7.25a fuse.

Yea i figured it out, it was a 7.5 Amp root-beer colored fuse 6th one down on 2nd row. That fuse label was confusing as hell at first to look at. It was labeled "Daytime". Thanks alot guys.
