Tried wiring foglights now car is in limp mode.

Long story short, I was adding HID fogs to my sisters fit and wired the switch to the fusebox. I don't know what happened but after I started the car, the power steering light turned on, the abs and brake light turned on, and no the D is blinking. Not sure what I shorted but the fuses I checked were all okay. Gonna take it to a shop and see if it's throwing any codes.

Any suggestions on what might possibly have gone wrong?

I might've shorted the box itself so the main relay went bad?

Disconnect the car battery. Disconnect your modifications. Reconnect battery. See what happens. If it's still acting up, then I'd be worried about damage to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM or more commonly ECU). Good luck.

Ended up just being a blown fuse, how ridiculous. I'll find out which fuse it was later today when I'm at the shop to pickup the car.

Yep. It always happens like that. When you have no where else to go, you take it to a professional and it turns out to be a damn fuse. Lol
