iPod Bug... or Feature?

Hi folks,

Loving my '13 base AT Fit, including the iPod integration.

One question though: based on the volume levels of songs during playback, it seems like the Fit's iPod interface is not respecting the Sound Check levels (Apple's system for roughly equalizing the volume level across different albums, songs, etc.).

I've double-checked that Sound Check is enabled on my iPod, and I've also toggled Sound Check off and back on, just in case. But still no love.

I can confirm that the iPod plays files with the Sound Check levels when, for example, I'm using headphones.

And I've confirmed that the sound differences are not related to the speed-related auto-volume adjust on the Fit's stereo.

Is this just a bug/feature of the Fit's iPod interface - when it takes over operation of the iPod it voids the Sound Check option?

Thanks for any info or insight folks can provide!

(P.S. I did a search here and didn't find an answer to this; apologies if it's already been discussed and I missed it.)
