Hey there,

Installed a T1R short shifter a couple of months, ago, absolutely love it, but I still feel the shifter to be a little loose/wiggly in neutral, and shifting still isn't as crisp as I want it to be.

I'm considering getting a set of hard mounts and cable bushings.
Anyone have experience with TWM Performance cable bushings? It's double the price of Torque Solution ones, but are made out of alloy and are self lubricating.

Also, are they any other brands that make hard mounts other than H-Fit?

Where have you found cable bushings for our cars?

I had the HFit kit in my car, loved it, though I was going to sell the car so I removed and sold the kit, replaced the HFit bushings with a stack of washers to fill the void and bolted everything back into place. Feels the exact same as before.

 

found it here. It says it's for the GD, but I believe it fits our gen as well. If anyone can confirm this, that'd be great.

how big were your washers and how many washers did you stack up?
