Ladylockness has a raspberry metallic fit, watchout!

Hey everyone! My real name is Tiffany and I love Honda.
This is my newest honda I've owned and its been great.

I had an integra, 2 eg hatchbacks , and 2 del sols.

Here's my honda fit story.

So originally purchased a used raspberry fit last august (with 5.000 miles) and a month later they told me they had to take it back. Shocked and sad i went and they explained why..Apparently the previous owners had a lien on the car and one of the co-signers couldn't legally sign it over anymore...They said they've never seen something like this happen before. Well lucky me they swapped me out with a brand new one with 3 miles on it I had put 3k on the old one in less than 2 months...whoops!

So I had a del sol before this car and it was my heart and sol. What do you know it gets wrecked in a 3 car accident..crushed. So i was pretty unattached to my fit untill now.

(heres me sitting in my sol a year ago loving this color)

I started with a 2012 base. Carpet floor mats, cargo tray and hubcasps.

I have purchased Megan Lowering springs, all weather floor mats, full nose mask, black/pink lug nuts, plasti-dipped the rear diffuser and rear bumper applique.

Here is me with my first fit.

First car wash

added the upper bra

My old bf who got me into hondas sold out and got a mazda...

Loaded some ikea shizz into the back

ISNT IT SO PRETTY WET???

Finally got it lowered

pink lug nuts

Hopefully some good pics soon..

Wheels are probably in the next 2 months..

questions, reviews , hatorades welcome.

I was undecided between this color because teal is a classic and sought after color here..and white.

Nice start. I really like that color but, like white (my top choice) it's pretty much non-existent up here in Sport MT form. Bet the white steelies will look pretty good with that color too.

Checked the lugs out, thanks. They sold you those lugs to run on the factory steelies or you already had those lugs? The seats on those aren't meant for the factory wheels, so if they sold them to you knowing you were putting them on your steel wheels you should be mad at them.

Save the lugs for when you get aftermarket wheels, that's what they're meant for. Just hate to see something happen to your new Fit or you if/when those lugs back out.

Wait what. Break that down for me? I bought the pink lugs from them. Idk if they knew what wheels I'd used them with

Hi Tiffney:

I just got my wife a 09 black pearl Fit.. if she had seen yours she would be jealous.. looks like one of her nail polish colors!

I painted my (her) rims gloss black and then several coats of clear coat finish and added some chrome 15" beauty rings and chrome GM center caps (modified) I initially got chrome acorn lug nuts not knowing I needed the rounded ball seat type.. luckily I got help here and switched them for the ball seat type and also decided to go with black nuts instead. Here is the thread on it. and a pix of the wheels:

Another, easy project for you is to put a add on lower grill or screen behind the lower grill to prevent a very costly AC condenser replacement. See this thread.

And another DIY project I'm going to do next for not much money is to add a Progress rear anti sway bar as the base model really needs it and it looks to be fairly easy to do. See this thread

And.. I added an inexpensive arm rest. It doesn't have much storage, but really adds a lot of comfort while driving See this thread and post #62

Congrats on your new "fashion accessory"

I think what he meant by that is OEM lug nuts are meant for OEM/Steelies and tuner/aftermarket lug nuts are meant for aftermarket wheels only. Main reason is because the seats are different, and if the right lug nut is not used then it may be unsafe in the long run.

Looking at those lugs makes me nervous. Not to knock your shop, but they are most likely tapered, but I've seen colored ones with a ball seat at places like autozone, so who knows...

I checked out those lugnuts you posted above from VMS and all of them that they offer are conical, with the OEM steel wheels you want ball seat lugnuts.

Your wheels are the ones in the middle, ball seated, the lugnuts you have are for the wheels on the left, conical seated.

You can get colored ball seated lugnuts on Ebay:
20x BALL RADIUS HONDA ACURA OEM RIM WHEEL FORGED LUG NUTS 12x1.5 M12 P1.5 RED on eBay!

Use something like that for your steelies and save the ones you have now for when you get wheels.

Safety first
