Horn going off indicated the car is LOCKED
My horn doesn't go off when I press the LOCK on the alarm key. Is it just a connection issue, but my horn works when I press it on the steering wheel. Any ideas?

It doesn't work when it is pressed twice. Followed all the other threads (hood closed, all doors closed, etc.), and it still doesn't beep. Anyone know problem? Connection problem maybe? if so, any step by step solution?

Have you tried doing the things mentioned in this thread? http://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-g...en-arming.html

I dont think that's true, it sounds like one horn found in the front, where is the other horn located? Its not like the BMW and Toyota's with that very faint electronic beeping noise.

Yea and that's the same one that makes noise if i hit the horn button on the steering wheel. Its the one mounted on the core support in front of the condenser yes?

Do your parking lights blink when you attempt to press the button twice?
May be fuse related. Or maybe Honda forgot to put your horn for the alarm in.
We have all seen weird things like this before!!

+1 for both Black & Pat
There are two horns, one for the security, one for the Steering wheel button. A few people were surprised when they replaced their horn with the accord one to find out that when they pressed the lock button twice, it sounded exactly the same.... (because it's a different horn)

Well don't push the button twice. Once is enough to lock the doors and if you are close you can hear them lock.

Why do you want it to beep? A bit of work to remove bumper and it is not likely the horn itself. The fuse is in the fuse box not by the horn. In your manual it will tell you which fuse to check.
