Tint: from 35% to 80%

Right now I have FurmulaOne 35%, nothing wrong with it, I just want something very light yet still have the most UV protection. I'm planning on Llumar AIR Blue 80% all around and "maybe" the front windshield too if it's unnoticeable. anyone has them on their FIT?

some pics out there with Air Blue 80%

I got the Air Blue 80 all around (including the windshield) on my '10 Fit (sorry, I don't have pics--recently sold it). FYI, because the windshield on the Fit is so freaking large, the film doesn't quite fit all the way. The width is fine, but height is the problem. I got this done at Umbra and Nino apologized and asked me if I still wanted it installed. I said go ahead and he installed it. It's short maybe a quarter inch or less on the bottom of the windshield which was no problem for me personally.

In terms of the tint itself, I think it looks great. I wasn't a big fan of dark tints on my Fit but I still wanted UV/heat protection. There's definitely a noticeable reduce in heat but of course not as good as darker tints. The tint is unnoticeable to the untrained eye, but next to another stock Fit, you can definitely tell the difference. I had a white fit and it matched well. If I still had the Fit, I probably would have gotten a darker tint for privacy (and because I'm in Texas now) so if you're okay with not having a darker tint, I think Air blue 80 is a good choice. I know there are clear tints available, but not sure how well they hold against heat.

Also, I forgot exactly how much I paid but including the windshield, it was $400 or more at Umbra (2 or so years ago).

EDIT: In certain settings, it looks darker or lighter, but it looks more like the blue car (Subaru?) and not so much the white Audi. I Google imaged it and not sure why the Air Blue 80 looks so dark/blue in some cars.

Thanks neoprag. My current tints were also done at Umbra and was just quoted around the same as yours on the Air Blue 80
I'll be reupholstering the interior to go with the Clazzio covers I just ordered, that and some vip curtains... would hate to hide those in dark tints

I emailed the place closest that does the Air Blue and was told it would be $150 just to do the windshield. I'm still debating if I want to do it or if it's even worth it.

Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. • Front Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in. • Back Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in. • Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

Are you sure those are Air Blue 80? Coz that pricing don't reflect an Air Blue... it's more like my current FormulaOne 35%

Very minimal shade but rejects 99.9% harmful uv while providing great visibility and does not degrade cellular reception are it's main selling point.
It is really expensive tho but seems like google says that users are very satisfied.

This is nice I would consider it on my Fit but I think it is illegal in New York State to do the windshield. I am going to do my rear windows and the 6 inch strip on the windshield some time in May. Based on the picture of the Audi looks upscale.

Yeah it's the price that is getting me. I googled the crap out of it this past summer and you're right, everyone seems to like it. I had a thought this morning though, would running the defrost on the windshiled effect the tint and it holding to the window? I'll forfeit the UV protection in favor of not having to scrape my windshield in the winter months.
