So I'm about to change out my spark plugs and I read somewhere that you don't need to remove the valve cover but I don't see how I can fit back there without doin that. Am I wrong? If not, can someone explain how to get this thing off easily? I'm a little new to doing these things on my own so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

xxryu139x has provided the way to do it. But you don't need to remove the "valve cover" however if you remove the "COWL COVER" it's easier to get at them.

It CAN be done with a cold engine without removing anything IF you are used to working with tools without being able to see what you are working on.

 

well either he figured it out how to do it himself, or he went to a mechanic and got it done. all that copy/pasting to jpg and not even an acknowledgement.

I think I did mine without removing the cowl... other than that, cowl off is the best way of doing it and it's pretty straight forward
