Wheel Fitting - Am I Missing Something?

I put a set of Konig Heliums 16x7 (+40 offset I'm pretty sure) and they stick out beyond the front wheel well a few mm. Looks kinda 4x4ish to me. I was under the impression that +40 might rub some but I didn't think it would look like this... Am I missing something? TireRack lists +40 as fitting the car.....

They do fit. i'm running them right now and they really don't stick out to much at all.

Thanks Krunk13, and thanks for your service.

Are you running camber? If so how much? Do you have a picture of the car down the side to show how much beyond the fender your stick out? Have you rolled or pulled your fenders?

Im dropped about 1.5in the front doesn't look like it has any camber but the back does. No rubbing, no rolling, no pulling.

Hmm, that's exactly what I was hoping mine would look like. Maybe it's my tires, I have 205/50s mounted on mine. Looks like you have something more narrow on yours.

I'm interested in this as well. I've been looking at Drag DR16's in the 16x7 and want to fit 205/50/16's with a spring setup close to the OP. Seems like a lot of these wheels run +40 offset. Nice to see no fender work and no rubbing as well. I'm not so interested in messing with the fenders.

@krunk13 - car seems to look good!
