Time to paint

Time to paint
So my '09 Fit is turning pink. The roof is almost white, and the tops of the window sills, wing and hood are following suit. I mentioned this to my dad a few weeks back, and yesterday made me an offer. If I buy supplies (paint, clearcoat, sandpaper, bondo) he'd be willing to re-spray my Fit, free of the cost of labor. I know this is a huge favor, and I intend to make the most of it.
Instead of respraying Milano red, I'll be going with Rallye red, a color offered on the Civic Si that I really like. I should be the only Fit in the U.S. sporting Rallye red. (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attach...9605-large.jpg)
I'm also kicking around the possibility of painting the roof black, specifically PT cruiser black. My father's Pt Cruiser is in need of a respray as well, and since he will have all his tools and paint booth already set-up, now is the perfect time to re-spray my Fit.
I pose a few questions to Fitfreak: I need to find out how to
1. Remove mirrors
2. Remove side aero trim
3. Remove rear badge
I'm probably going to have a 56k death thread by the time we're finished. I'll be sure to take a ton of pictures.
I'm not too worried about this being only the third car he's painted. His first attempt was this:
Type 65 Coupe build in Alabama
Thanks again FF for the help!

Mirrors are simple open the door pop the cap were the mirrors are 3 10mm nuts pop door panel to get to plug. Side skirts ther is 2 screws in the front then 4 clips on the bottom after you get those push side skirt forward should slide off.
Rear emblem is a pain the the ass have to pop the rear garnish there is one screw and 4-5 clips that are hard to pop I broke 3 of mine when I took mine off to shave mine and wiper hole. Actually did a full color change on my 2010 fit sport today.

The pilar pieces have a screw at the bottom then slide up on clips the very back one the screw is under the plastic cover at the back of door. The window strips are super easy once you have the pillar pices off simply grab the strip at one end and pull up and they are out makes for earlier tapeing and finished product and more questions let me know
