Just wondering if anyone has gone in for this recall yet and how long did you spend at the dealer. It's my understanding its just an ECU reflash, but by dealer is telling me they'll need the car for 1/2 day! WTF? Either that or I was just dealing with a not very knowledgable service tech, cause how the hell does that take 1/2 a freaking day?

 

My buddy is a Mech at a dealership in London and he said they havent seen any fits come in yet for this recall. 1/2 a day sounds like they want to work on it on their time and not convenience the customer.

 

Just got my recall notice yesterday. From what I know it's not a immediate concern. My buddy is a service advisor at my dealer but I couldn't get a hold of him and spoke to someone else. I'm gonna try reaching him, otherwise ill just wait until I go for an oil change and have it done then. That will be awhile though since I'm at 70% oil life still.

 

I'm wondering if this affects the LX model as well, since it also has VSA.

 

My understanding is no it's only the Sport due to the tire/wheel size (16"). LX rides on 15" wheels/tires
