need help to see if its fixable

hello all, I own a 2012 Honda Fit Sport, but a few months ago an old lady plowed into my parked car braking of my rear passenger wheel? Is there an easy way to fix it or would it be totaled? Can you give me some ideas or should I just junk it?

The wheel is broken and that's it? Why not just buy a new/used wheel? Pretty vague post we really need to get an idea of the damage.

A broken alloy wheel is toast, not repairable. But without pics, we're all speculating here. Plus like stated, you were hit, why aren't you going through insurance? Believe me you don't want to do a cash deal with the person who hit you, file a proper claim otherwise, you can be easily screwed, no matter how nice the "hitter" may seem

Wow. A broken wheel is the least of your worries. Let your body shop and insurance deal with all the repairs you need like your wheel, suspension and body work.

Now that I look at it, they might even write it off since it looks like your frame took a beating too. Seriously, you were worried about the wheel?!?!

And as far as junking it, your insurance company will make that decision, not you, but from those pics, I'd say financially it would make more sense for them to write it off and cut you a cheque. Happy shopping!!

Ouch...I mean it looks quite bad..but I think that's quite worse even than I expected. I think thats going to need a whole new rear torsion beam....

Broken suspension parts at the least and including the body work and it being a newish car that MAY be totaled.

Something is wrong with this picture. In the first post the OP said it happened a few MONTHS ago. So has he already dealt with insurance and they wrote it off and he is trying to determine if he can repair the car to maybe sell it or whatever?

I would keep the wheel and junk the rest.

Totaled. New torsion beam, new doors, fix pillars, etc, etc, etc.

I'm confused by this thread though, insurance should be handling all of this?
