Let me tell you how much I hate VA roads.

I had to take a friend to the airport this afternoon, well on my way going down I-64, and hit this huge pothole that I didnt even see, well now I have a Sprint Hart that is bent in 3 different places.

God Im so pissed.

Here is what they looked like. I will have to get some pics of the screwed up one later.

you may be able to have the highway department pay for it... your tax dollars are supposed to keep the roads free if issues like that... if you can prove they knew about the holes... you have a very strong case... sorry to hear that.... but GL

Virginia is a Commonwealth state. I would rather just spend the money on a new wheel versus fighting with the state.

All roads have potholes, not just in VA. But that does suck, now what are you going to do.

Sorry man.... I bent my 17's on my Mx-6 years ago. I could have had the state repair it, a few people I know have gone through with it. It does work.
Just takes some time.

Hope all goes well. I want to see them pics.

ive bent 2 SSR IntegralA2's back 10yrs ago when i was carving the
canyons in Malibu in my Gen5 Prelude.

costed me $1K total including 2 new wheels (deemed unrepairable)
re-mounting tires, and a 4 wheel alignment.

i had insurance help me out up to $500 which was their max without
increasing my premium (have $0 deductible). it was considered a
one-car collision even though i went over a canyon rock about a
size of a small kleenex box.

i was very pissed at the time, but learned its just part of car ownership.
