K&N Intake Mod

Hello, may somebody share experience of any visible power gain on this K&N intake mod as the manufacturer's claims?

69-1017TTK - K&N 69 Series Typhoon Kits, Performance Intake Kit direct from K&N

Consider getting this since there is a huge discount currently.

it doesnt do anything really. just get a drop in filter so that you can wash and reuse it forever.

Wow, I am surprised that the manufacturer claims 4.5hp gain. I do have a K&N drop-in already. Thanks. Will stick to it then.

Any thought about the combo of cooler spark plug like the Denso IK22 and higher octane gas such as 91 as others suggested in a different thread?

This car doesn't react well to simple mods. Save up for a turbo kit or a motorcycle

Don't listen to the naysayers any time you are adding air you get a gain how significant it is depends on a lot of factors. Higher octane and one step colder plugs will probably get you bigger gains than the fitler.

Many threads on the plugs and octane adding a bunch of timing from people with scan gauges to watch the change.

I just installed a Injen CAI mainly because i like its overall design, and the fact of silicone section does not conduct heat (near radiator) like aluminum setups and allows intake to flex a little without tugging on anything. I also like the filter placement in the dead area below headlight rather then a hot engine bay like most.
