2012 Fit Interior Light Stopped Working
I'm new to FitFreak, please forgive me if I posted in the wrong section.
I have a 2012 Fit, base mod, with a standard transmission.
Anyway, my interior light just stopped working. I checked the bulb, and it doesn't seem to be blown. I figured it might be a fuse, so I thumbed through the manual and looked at the diagram to no avail.
WHERE IS THE INTERIOR LIGHT FUSE? I've pulled all the 10A fuses and none of them have busted. I'm at my wits end, this is my baby and I'm worried she might have something else wrong with her. :-(

A break in the filament may not be visible.
per the shop manual fuse #1 (7.5A) protects the MICU, cargo lights, map lights, ceiling lights, gauge control module, audio unit etc etc
The ceiling light is actually used as an indicator for the MICU when in test mode (blinks).
So... it's unlikely it's a fuse unless you have a lot of things not working.
The light circuit is "hot" all the time. The switch at the light grounds it and the light comes on, or the door opening activates a ground through the MICU (control unit) at the fuse box.
Change the bulb. If that doesn't help it's a warranty item. I think the bulb is covered by the warranty too.

Very informative, and quick responses, this forum is awesome Thanks to you both.

my light recently went out also. Bulb filament looked okay, DMM measured good, so I hooked it to a 12V power supply and bulb lite up. Put it back into the ceiling fixture and it worked now. hmmm I was now perplexed...but not for long as it went out again 3 weeks later and this time filament visibly broken. I replaced it with a white light LED from Autozone and very happy with the look. Double the price of a standard bulb but worth it for astethics only IMO but should have a much longer life also.
