Dome Light Problems

My '09 dome light went out on me, but the bulb looks fine. I couldn't find any documentation on which fuse is specific to it, but as near as I can tell everything else (map lights, etc) seem to be working fine. Any ideas? Also, I went to autozone and they gave me the wrong bulb? Anyone know what model bulb it is (just in case it really is a bad bulb)?
Thanks!

Google/Search may be your best friend during times of distress XD

anyway i believe the fuse for the dome is #1 Back Up 10 A. there's a fuse label next to your fuse box. im pretty sure it's not a blown fuse, otherwise all your interior lights wouldn't work. correct me if i'm wrong.

also if you're looking for a replacement bulb GE8's use Part #DE3022 for the dome bulb. you can always just take the old bulb out and go match it at the store

here's a replacement guide if you need

Yeah, I was in a rush at the auto-zone, and simply told them the model, year and that it was the dome light, but they gave me the wrong bulb. So I figured I'd ask. Map lights are working, but the dome light filament looks fine, so I'm a bit worried. Unfortunately, I just ran out of the main warranty. Oh, well. I'll check out in more detail when I have time.

I had the same problem with my '09 so I tried using some light steel wool on the ends of the bulb and on the contact clips. Sometimes you need to rotate the bulb around a bit too, but that got it working again.

A decent multimeter would let you check continuity of the bulb and if you are getting power at the light.
