Scan Guage Turn On

Scan Guage Turn On
I've had a Scan Guage for a few years, it always came on when I started my 2010 Fit Sport. Recently, it has only been coming on when I pushed the "ON" button on the gauge itself. I like it better the "original" way, as I don't have to remember to turn the unit on. Anyone have this problems or a solution? I looked at the Scan Guage site, but no help.
Thanks

Only thing I can think of is when you start your car, and everything else goes off or dim, maybe your battery is finally showing its age, and enough voltage dropping is occuring to where the scangauge is deciding to stay off.
Know anyone in your area with a fit? use your scangauge in theirs and see if it turns on or not. if it turns on, Id use a multimeter measure voltage during starts and perhaps also measure amperage during starts

Actually you could plug that Scangauge into almost any other OBD2 car and see if it turns on automatically. It does not have to be a Fit.
I do not run Scangauge very often in my Fit. I do run it in my Colorado. I notice there that it does delay turning on for a few seconds until the alternator comes up to voltage. In the Colorado the BCM delays the alternator start for the first 4 or 5 seconds after the engine starts.
13FIT may have something there about it not starting because of low voltage at the OBDII port. You may have to chase this one down with a volt meter.
