A/F guage resetting
A/F guage resetting
Hi guys,
I recently encountered intermittent problems of my A/F gauge restting itself when I turn on my headlights (turning on pole light does not have any problems)
These happened after I installed my HID headlights to replace my halogen (GE6).
The gauge I am using are"prosport" and it beeps whenever being resetted as it is supposed to be in silent mode.
Anyone with a clue why will this happen?

Get some beefier ground straps, a seperate fusible-link charge cable from the alternator to the battery and a voltage gauge to monitor alternator output.
The initial draw from your retro-fit headlights is putting a large strain on the rest of the system.
Check your wiring, try some of the suggestions above and get back to us
Initially, I wanted a guage with moving needs (for cosmetic purpose only) and thus got the A/F guage to monitor the air fuel ratio at the same time.
It is rather useless though. lol.
Bad ground? Voltage drop is too great.
