12-13 Fog Light lens replacement options

Well before i was able to get Fog Lights protectors i got bit and have a cracked glass.
We all know that Honda only sells the assembly and its a fortune.

In my quest to find a cheaper alternative for a replacement lens and keeping it the factory Stanley lens i have found 2 options.

One is fully confirmed one I will confirm tomorrow.

Parts 33951-TR0-A51 and 33901-TR0-A51 fit 2014 Civic 4dr and are the same lens and are $109.68 per side.

Im working to see if the 2014 2dr is also the same lens but wont have product until tomorrow.

Good to know. Though $100 per side is still quite pricey when you get can a whole aftermarket assembly for less than $100 and just swap the lens.

I doubt the 2014 2dr would be any cheaper.

You can buy just the glass

Fog light replacement glass from rockauto for around $47, or $72 if you want the CAPA certified one.

1. Honda
2. 2009 (or selected year)
3. Fit
4. 1.5L L4
5. Body- Exterior
6. Fog/ driving lamp assembly

In step 6 it will have both the lens and the whole assembly. I hope this helps in your future searches
Double check if the 09 is different thank the 12+ (I don't think so), but even if they are different, search using the above method to see if they have it for the 12-13's.

While i do see your point this post was intended for the peeps that like to stick to factory OEM parts.
And this gives them options of not having to go aftermarket or spending a fortune on the OEM assembly from Honda.

I have confirmed that 14 Civic coupe lenses are also the same.
33901-TS8-A51 and 33951-TS8-A51 will also work as replacements and list for $93.05.

can u take measurements of the internal cavity from the light bulb hole to the bottom of the lens? and the height and width?

if u don't do the hammer technique in replacing the glass, can u see if u can remove the lens by baking it?

When i get home and get a chance i can mic the measurements you need.

As far as baking the lens not sure but i guess i could pop the broken one in the toaster oven or regular oven and try.

The housing is metal and of course the lens is glass so i can see if it uses that heat sensitive bond material or if its epxoy sealed.
