Obligatory newbie post

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as I'm new to the world of Fit ownership! I've wanted one for awhile now, and I've already talked a few friends into buying them. After doing the research on small 4 door hatchbacks, the Fit just kept coming up on top, way above the competition. I wasn't planning on buying a new car when I woke up yesterday morning, but when the transmission in my 02 Focus ZX5 died a sudden and noisy death I figured it was time to bite the bullet. I found a 2011 Fit Sport at a nearby Kia dealer and went to check it out, falling in love instantly. It was traded in by a 70 year old guy, it was in incredible shape, and only has 35k miles! It was the trim level I wanted, manual transmission, and even my favorite orange color! I'm loving it so far, and I'm looking forward to many years with this car. I've got a couple vintage Honda motorcycles but this is my first experience with a 4 wheeler by the brand, so hopefully you guys will be patient as I learn the ropes

Anyway, here's a couple pics of my new baby! I'll get some better ones once it's not yucky rainy weather and I can give her a proper wash and wax.

Thanks everyone! I'm loving this car more and more as I get used to it, it handles pretty well. I'm definitely glad I went with the manual transmission, I've had 3 different automatics fail in a row so I'm done with them. I missed shifting anyway! I also love the color, it's pretty close to the original paint on my 72 CB500.

Unfortunately the 73 Ford pickup is a member of the dead transmission club, it's about to be replaced with a second gen Econoline van.

As of now the plan is to keep it stock and just drive it, I have other vehicles to do custom stuff with. Although we've all heard that before!

Congrats on the purchase, it's a neat little car for sure. Looks like your windows are already tinted which saves you a few hundred and will do a nice job once summer comes along.
