How is the rear "Fit" badge attached?

I'm curious how the Fit emblem on the rear hatch is attached, I'd like to remove it for a cleaner look but don't want to risk destroying it in the process and being left with holes or something. I'm hoping it's just held on by 2 sided tape. I'm referring to my 2011 Sport.

My apologies if this has been covered, I wasn't able to find much on the subject by searching.

Heat it up with a hairdryer and then use some dental floss to cut the tape clean and enjoy.

sounds simple enough! So it's just stuck on, no holes left behind?

Hi , my dent repair guy used a credit card . He just slid it under the emblem ,using it like a knife and out it came. You have to use a very thin double sided tape to stick it back, its a bit tricky cutting the exact shape of the emblem.
