Finding out what MM has in mind

Is there a way to find out what the Maintenance Minder codes will be for a given service interval before the Oil Life indicator drops down to 15?

Yes hold the button for 10 seconds, codes will be displayed, do nothing, MM will return to normal.

Oh wow, really? It won't reset the codes? Or do you have to hold it in another 5 seconds after that to reset the codes?

You have to stand on your head and rub your belly to reset them (I forget the sequence, but you won't do it accidentally...)
