Glare in mirrors

Hi All, I've noticed that many vehicles are now using HIDs or very bright lights. Night driving has become real nightmare with all the glare in rearview mirror and side mirrors. Any suggestions on how to avoid it. Only solution I can think of is installing new auto dimming side mirrors. I can switch my rear view mirror to night and day mode.

They have those blue tint stick on side mirrors that are supposed to reduce glare. I think they're on eBay, but no idea how much they help. I was thinking about getting them if I ever decide to ditch my Broadway and get the Spoon rear-view just so everything matches

I have the same problem especially when it's a lifted truck, I have to position my car in the lane so it's not so annoying lol

The "blue tint" replacements are supposedly good for reducing glare.

I got these right before winter, but will be installing them in the next few weeks. From the reviews, they do a pretty good job of reducing glare.

Seen them post about it over on the CR-Z forums, so I asked about the Garuda ones posted earlier in this thread, and they said they never got a reply... could've been communication difficulties. So I bought the factory-direct.jp ones.

I emailed Rin Yamakawa ( @ info-sales@factory-direct.jp ) , and I got a response within hours. The next day he sent me a paypal invoice, and my mirrors should be here the latest by Saturday (or early next week) The total w/shipping, paypal fees, etc was ~$140, and these are the same type as the others posted - heated, blue tint polarization & repels water, LED turn signal on the mirror.

Looks like I'm going to have to order the JDM auto-fold harness at the very minimum to at least finish the mirrors.

So glad I found these before buying the CDN heated mirrors, or the Mugen/JDM Honda Aqua Cleans. Thanks for the original find Alpina!!!

Spoon makes the rear view replacement (actually an add on, it sticks to the OEM mirror) which I'll be ordering this week.

Just use that tab at the bottom of the rearview mirror. Changes the angle of the mirror, but you can still see behind but not with that much light.
