At 100,000 miles I started experiencing a buzzing sound when lifting off the throttle in gear. As the revs start to drop, the engine just doesn't sound as good as it used to, sort of a weaker buzzing sound - could be something loose and vibrating, really not sure. Sounds normal idle and under acceleration - also have not noticed any loss of power. Sound is particularly present as the revs drop below 2500 and continue down to idle before putting in the clutch.

Do YOU know what this is - and if I should fork over some cash to get it fixed??

 

Normally around 100-105k you want to get the a valve adjustment in the honda engines. I had an Acura CL-s 6spd with that same buzzing ticking sound and it was address with a valve adjustment.
