Ideas for fixing mirror?

Hello,
Last week I bought a black 2012 Honda Fit Sport, and so far I love it! Sadly, I made the mistake of taking it to a touchless car wash before reading about washing in this forum. I have never really had an issue with a touchless car wash before, but I also have never had a car this new that I've wanted to take such good care of. Anyway, I went through the car wash last Sunday. I followed all the directions, which included folding my side mirrors in. After leaving the car wash I drove over the the vacuum and noticed some substantial gashes in the passenger side mirror. I am nearly 100% certain they were not there before entering the car wash. Has anyone had anything similar happen? I'm in Alaska and right now everyone's cars are filthy. I've heard that car washes recycle their water, and I'm wondering if that could have caused some of the damage to my car. I also noticed several other smaller dings on the paint that weren't there before. Beyond the issue of the car wash, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what to use to fix the gouges on my mirror. I have attached a picture of the gouges. From now on, it's handwash only here.

Well you can either take the cap off and have it repainted or buy a new cap p/n 76201-TF0-E11ZU. Cap runs around 50 bucks normal retail.
Nothing you can do about the scratches in the actual housing itself.

Thanks for the part number! I hadn't thought about getting a new cap. That'll probably be the easiest solution.

There's some carbon fiber covers as another option.

You didn't get those scratches from a touchless car wash. Someone has hit you with something.

I never fold my mirrors before going through car wash. Actually did not know mine did.

Replacing caps not that hard. I replaced mine with winker ones. I am keeping my original caps.
