Wet Mirrors

Hey, i have this problem where when it rains or when i wash the car, i can't see out of the mirror because the water accumulates on the mirrors. I've tried putting that "rain-x" stuff on it and it isn't helping. Do you guys have the same problem? DO you guys have a solution?

i don't have a Fit, but i do own a Honda, and it's a civic...sometimes after i wash my car, when i wax the car i put a very light coat of wax on the mirror glass. i also put a very light coat on the rest of the exterior glass to help deter water when it rains. i've tried it without the wax, and have the same problem as you had described. with the light coat of wax, the water usually beads and rolls off once my car gets moving, just as it does on the painted surfaces of the car. if you need the mirrors right away, then just get out a squeegee, and swipe that water off. i don't know of any other way to deter this from happening, and as far as i know this happens to most cars...maybe someone knows more about this than me though if you are dealing with dried up water spots all over the mirror glass, Stoner's Invisible Glass works great, as does regular vinegar and water mixed together. hope i helped out at least a little bit.
