Dealer in Deerfield Beach FL

Hi,
I just purchased a new 2013 Sport and will be driving it from New Jersey to Florida in two weeks. When I get down there I want to change the oil, can anyone recommend a Honda dealer around Deerfield Beach? The reason I ask is that in 2004 I had a Toyota Truck and went to a Toyota dealer to have my oil and filter changed, when I got back home I check the oil and the same filter I put on in Jersey was still on the truck.

Thank's

But leave the factory oil in until the maintenance minder calls for an oil change, especially the first time. The factory fill is "special." Read your manual.

From Jersey to Fla and Back isn't 10K miles which is what IT took for me to hit the first recommended service interval.

Don't change it until the dashboard tells you to swap it out.

Very sound advise!!! Did the same when my GD was brand new back in '08. Same w/ our '07 FJ back in '06. Won't hurt at all. The engines in both our vehicles settled in perfectly. Wait for the dash and keep that "special" original oil till the time is ripe.
What you should do is pay attention to your driving. Don't do the whole trip stuck at one speed. Vary it at much as you can, so the rings will achieve an even "seat". Acceleration up and down by 10 mph or more. The first 500 miles is more important than any mileage after.
Have a safe trip and post pics later!!!

BTW, congrats on the new member to your family!!!!!

Thank's to all for your advise. I read the owners manuel and could not find anything about break in. I will take the majority advise about the spacial oil that is in the engine to be left there until reminder recommends to change.

Thank's,
everyone for your advise.
