Car honks twice when I put the ignition to on/start the car

Car honks twice when I put the ignition to on/start the car

The 2013 Fit makes 2 fast honks when I start the car or turn it to III. Anyone know what might be causing this?

It's similar to this video of an Acura TL with the same issue.

I know your post is old but did you ever find out why the car honks twice just bought mine not too long ago and does the same.

Horn honks

Disconnect the horn until you find out what the problem is. Clay

Horn honks

Try putting a new battery in the electronic key. The car thinks you're stealing the the car and then decides otherwise. Best of luck. Clay
