Best deals on leftover 2013 Fits?
My local dealership has 3 2013 Fits left. I know for sure one of them has been there since at least January (a blue sport 5sp m/t). Im trying to get an idea of what people have been paying for leftover 2013's to see that kind of deal i could get. The new 2015's LX trim is only about 16,300 at full sticker with a manual trans. The leftovers are priced at $1000 below MSRP, so I'd still be looking at 16,790, more than a brand new 2015 LX.
So what 2013 trim did you get, indicated whether its a manual or auto, and what was the final price you negotiated + doc fees (but not including tax, title or tags, because those are state specific)
One of them (you can still see ice and snow)

Asking prices here (NH/MA) are the same or higher than a few months ago. There's a Base MT that they're asking 16,215 for, same as they were. There's a Base AT for 17,015, about the same. Sports are asking from 18- 20,580, which is a bit higher than they were in the winter. The 2015s are in the same range: 16,315- 20,590. Keep in mind that when I contacted the dealer they quoted me around 1400 less.

'13 base FIT with 5 speed auto . M.S.R.P. : $17,015 , paid $15,574 before taxes , etc.. Price includes 4 mudguards installed , cargo cover and 4 carpet floor mats . That was a few months ago . Should be able to get for less with the '15s on or arriving at lots . Price excludes our trade . Payment is less than $230 a month if I remember correctly . It's financed through HONDA at .9% for 5 years . This still applies . Good luck and let us know of your decision and price paid .

If you can get a 2013 sport for 15k-16k (before taxes n stuff) that's an excellent price for a cool little car. Today I saw a used 2013 white sport 5spd with 3k miles on it for 15k at a Mini Dealer. Great price! I have a 2013 sport auto w/ 23k trouble free miles. I went to a Toyota dealer and got a trade-in value of 14k so was pleased with that resale value. Still driving it!
Last year about this time I paid 17.7k (before taxes n stuff). 18.8k OTD with about $250 of accessories thrown in (I installed them myself). Once I was comfortable with the price I just said to the sales guy "if you can throw in these accessories (not installed) i'll buy it right now". Worth a try the next time you buy. That and they say at the end of the month the dealers are more motivated to make deals. Also, if you have access to a car buying service check their pricing too (credit unions, Edmunds price paid forums). Might eliminate those pesky negotiations, nobody got time for that.

Bought White '13 Base AT for $15,400 two weeks ago. I think I would have gotten a better price before Honda discontinued their dealer help $750 at the end of May. I really wanted white and next nearest car was going to mean a 500 mile trip. The dealer I traded with was 125 miles away.
The dealer agreed to take 25 cars from a closing dealer in Chicago. 21 of them were Fits and the Fit is a bad fit for them.
I'm pleased with the car, the great Honda special interest and price.

I bought my '13 sport for $15.5k the dealer had 26 cars on the lot still and was hard up for a sale since there are 8 honda dealers within 40 miles from my house and they are outsold 8:1 by Subarus around here.
