How easy it it to replace the inner Rack End Rod on GE6 / GG6?....

I have a Jazz 1.4 EX ( I detect, when the wheel (front left) jacked up, there is a slight movement. I don't believe that it is the ball Joint (bottom) I think it is the Ball joint at the inner steering rack end. Either the ball joint there or it has become loose. How easy to remove, if indeed I cannot tighten it? They have a locking tab I assume. I did it many years ago on a Fiat Regata (Turbo Diesel) but I had access to a pit/ramp.
The car has had an 'incident' in it's past. I will put it down to accident or kerb damage. The parts will probably cost <£100 including a realignment check/adjust.
If weather warms up I will strip as much as I can (the Honda, not me and update for future reference. I will get a new concertina boot and clips in advance ready to replace at the same time.
