P0962 - Pressure Control Solenoid A Control Circuit Low
Hello All,
Drove the car on Christmas day all was fine.
The next morning started the car and MIL was on with 'D' flashing with rough shifting.
Left the car on the drive way and took my F150 for Boxing day shopping (that was a challenge in itself)
Late last night checked with code reader and it read P0962
Plan this morning:
01. Check fuse 7 Transmission SOL (AT)
02. Try to locate A/T Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 'A' a and check connections (I have access to diagrams via local Public Library Online)
03. As she is only 21 Months Young call Honda service and claim Warranty
Were is the physical location on Valve 'A'?
Any replies is appreciated

It turned out to be a rodent issue.
I had to spend premium money at the stealership for the fix. do not do the same mistake
Pull out the air intake filter assembly
Under this you will see the three solenoids. Solenoid 'A' is the one nearer to the firewall
Rodent had chewed the wire to this solenoid
Unless your solenoid 'A' itself has failed (Most unlikely)
