What is average car payment? 300-350 dollars? That is over $3500 a year. If your maintenance EVER gets close to this number in a year (for a FIT), I suggest you burn the car to the ground and start riding a bicycle because cars are clearly not for you...
On a car with 192k where those things have likely never been done? Yes, you should do everything ASAP, because its not been properly maintained to begin with.

Tell us more sweeping generalizations about the maintenance of a car you've never seen before.


Cool trade on the Fit Ross, we have a Volt pool car at work and it's nice to never put gas in it. I think I've driven the thing around 6,000 miles and have never burned a gallon of gas.

An all electric car is in my future. Just waiting on better range per charge as can't really afford $80k Tesla car. lol

Battery tech is getting better. Before you know it these electrics can be souped up to be sports car with 250+ mile range per charge.
