Post JDM Honda Fit GE6 2010 ECU Reset

Dear All Members,

I've joined today on Fit Freak. I'm new in this forum. I joined this forum and create this new thread to address the issue I'm having with my JDM Honda Fit GE6 2010. I want to know how to reset ECU for my car? I've already searched in YouTube and on the Web and I got some information about resetting the ECU on different cars. They only said that the following needs to be done in order to reset the ECU of cars. I think resetting ECUs is good for the car because it learn about new things of the car such as, temperature, fuel, air flow, etc....

1. Disconnect the minus terminal of the battery.
2. Depress the brake pedal and turn on the lights in order to drain all the electric current that may or may not left inside the car's system.
3. Leave the battery disconnected for 15 to 30 minutes.
4. Reconnect the minus terminal of the battery after 30 minutes.
5. Start the engine and leave it idle for another 30 minutes until the radiator fan starts running.
6. Now, your car's ECU is reset to factory default and successfully calibrated.

The thing I want to know for sure is that, the above procedure can be use to do the ECU reset on Honda Fit or not?
