Help! Part verification, oil leaking from front of engine

I'm not way up to speed on these engines, but have searched and found what I could.

Is it the oil pressure sensor on the front of the block? Sits to the side of the starter, and just above the dipstick tube? Mine is dumping oil out of it pretty good, and I'm assuming its not just loose, probably cracked.

So before I track down another, or try to remove it, want to make sure thats what it actually is! Thanks!

bernardi

whenever I need to search for a part, I head to bernardiparts.com, find the category the part would likely fall under, and drill down until I find it....

give it a shot....

I already used majestic Honda, but the diagram doesn't distinguish where that sensor connects.

I got a wrench on it, and got it to turn. Is it supposed to sit flush to the block, or no?

Never mind, it's cracked. Leaking from under the connector.

Got it without removing any hoses or parts! Oem was 24mm, replacement was 22mm, in case anyone searches this later. Teflon tape the threads, and be patient! Lol. It's pretty much all blind work, and barely room to get one hand in, no less 2, and I've got small hands. Took some creativeness with extensions to get it spun loose, and tightened back in properly, with one of the a/c lines right in the way.

Once I diagnosed it, probably took 40 minutes to actually replace it, and wipe everything down real well, but still faster than pulling the oil filter, or ac compressor, or starter. Not to mention I just changed the oil 1000 miles ago, didn't want to waste it.
