Hey!
I've got a 2012 and I found a 2009 for part out. Would the front bumper for the '09 fit properly on my '12? I'm wanting to get the sport bumper for the sake of fog lights, but am unsure as to the interchangeability of this car.

 

it shud fit, make sure u grab the grill too

One thing to watch for, the Sport bumper is closer to the ground/farther out, and will drag on the ground more easily. Honda even warns about this in the manual. Despite my best efforts to be careful, I grounded the nose of my '09 Sport several times pulling in/out of steeply angled driveways and parking lots.

 

Do a quick search, I feel like this has been addressed before. My sense is .. it almost fits but not quite. Like, it'll mount properly on the screws but maybe conflict with a grill or headlights or something. I could be wrong though.

 

I have a 09 base that had a sport bumper put on it after an accident.

Seems to have fit fine but i dont have foglights(just open spaces)

and like mentioned above, its very easy to scrape it without realizing especially if you have the air deflector strip under the bumper

 

From my knowledge there was a face life from 09-11 to 12-13.

If you take a look at the sport there is space between the headlights and grill






But in 12-13 ( this color was only produced these years btw) there is no more space and the grill has changed.. the 9-11 sport looks like it has the base grill in 12-13 now imo i havent checked




I am in a base currently and planning on going to the sport front end so ive been doing my research. I do know the fenders are the same but im still checking on if the headlights are the same. The only difference i know the 12-13 base to sport change for sure is, is that the housing is black in the sport.
