So i bought this 2007 Fit 2nd Gen and it's got some things on it that I can't seem to find on any forums online.

It's got LED skirts with Honda Modulo custom performance written on them, a different grille at the front to anything I can find online, and a body kit front and back with fog lamps.

It's got turn signals on the side mirrors and an electronic air con system with what i assume is an aftermarket double din touchscreen gps/music unit, also has an armrest on the drivers seat if that means anything?

But then its got steel wheels which seems kind of odd with all those other things.

Imported from Japan so it's a JDM car but it didn't have a vin when i bought it so I don't know the paint code (metallic purple) or if it's a sports model or anything. I found the frame number behind that sliding plastic piece in the engine bay if that helps?

You bought an imported car with no VIN plate? Anywhere? And New Zealand Customs let it come in? Have you looked elsewhere on the car for the VIN plate? Like the driver's door jamb or on the front bumper cover or other places as enumerated in the Owner's Manual.

 

It has been issued with an NZ vin plate that NZTA issues but not one from Japan.

 

they should be a Vin behind the cowl (the long black part where the wipers are) I think its on the left side here in the states maybe on the same side on yours. If I can I'll post a pic for you in the AM

thats the frame number behind the sliding plastic thing at the top of the engine bay.
Can we get any info from that?

 

I am not 100% sure but I believe the frame number and the VIN are the same.
