Check Fuel Cap message

Anyone experience this? When you turn the ignition on the "Check Fuel Cap" message scrolls in the gauge cluster. Obviously I checked the cap. Anyone know what's going on and how to reset this? Thanks.

It should fix itself sooner or later. Happened to me once.

Thanks. I figured out if I just hit the toggle button it disappears. Seems like others say an onset of warm weather triggers it.

ive had this happen to me 2 times in the past 6 years on my 10 fit sport. just happened 2 months ago when it started getting hot and about 4 years ago when i got really cold. i think it was more my fault for not tightening the cap past the clicks. it always corrected itself after a few miles once i re tightened the cap.
