"Check Engine" on lcd display with battery icon

today I went my local town. while I was driving the lcd displays this message. I didn't stop or did anything, just kept driving. the message went by itself and came back about 5 to 8 times.
when reached home I open the bonnet to examine and find nothing abnormal.
previous owner did mention that it has miner front accident. Is this could be any serious problem later on. the vehicle has about 60k on the clock ...

The fault code(s) can tell you why the lights are on. It's STEP ONE of a diagnosis.
Codes are not usually a complete diagnosis though. The code scanner is only a tool.

The fault code is probably going to be related to the charging system, but that's the only thing I'm going to guess without more specific information.

Is the current sensor still connected on the battery negative post? Does your car have such sensor?

no battery negative is connected directly to the chassis. no sensor. this morning i started it and at idle it shows "CHECK SYSTEM" displayed on the lcd with "engine" icon.
will check the connections to the coil. will honda dealer assist regarding fault code?

It still has the battery warning symbol illuminated, yes?
Does the alternator work, is it charging?
will honda dealer assist regarding fault code?
I expect they have all necessary equipment if you wish to go there.

This was very strange while I was checking all the connections, I notice that 1 connector was little lose on the alternator. The lock clip on the connector was broken that might the cause.
I pulled it out and set it back in.
I also disconnect the - terminal and connect it back in.
no warning sign yet......
will monitor and see it goes thanks
