2012 Fit Base strange gear shifts

I recently purchased a 2012 fit base (Automatic) with 14,600 miles and It's driven fine for the first month that I've owned it but over the past few days I've noticed that the shifting pattern has become just....off....I really can't find a better way to describe it. I've noticed that it gets stuck in 2nd gear, especially when downshifting, and it seems like there's a 2-3 second lag between pressing the gas and getting any response from the transmission. If I'm slowly decelerating the car tends to hover in 2nd and I can rev the engine and get no major change in the tachometer or get any increase in power. It isn't just 2nd gear though. It feels like the car never gets fully into gear.

I'm at a loss about what the issue could be, and I'm sorry I don't know how to word this problem better. any help would be so appreciated.

Any codes thrown? At 14,600 Miles, I doubt the AT Fluid would need replacement. Is the fluid level correct?

I haven't seen any indication lights pop on, and the sudden change in performance makes me think that fluid levels aren't the culprit.

The only issue I can see is getting a "low temperature" indication on start

Check fluid level and see if theres anything leaking from the drain plug.

Fluid levels in the transmission are fine and no leaks that I can see.

Seems that most of the problem is 3rd gear. Seems to get stuck in 3rd and the engine gets stuck around 1,500 RPM.

Check for codes at autozone or using your own inexpensive OBDII code scanner.

If nothing comes up, time to take it for transmission diagnostic.

No codes shown and no check engine light indication.

Checked the transmission fluid and I have plenty of it, but it's more of a reddish brown rather than bright red.

Otherwise could be really expensive. What does it do if you do not use the paddles? We do not have paddles here in Canada. I often just shift down to third from drive for fun time.
