2013 Fit base reliability ?

I bought this about 10 mos. ago and now have 23K miles on it. If I can get this car up to 150K without much issue I will call it a deal. Anyone have major miles on their 2nd Gen Fit ? And...what is the reliability report ?

OK...anyone having any mechanical issues. I am thinking about trading my 2013 Fit w/auto trans. in, but if it stays problem free....I may just keep it.

The most recent Consumer Reports Car Buying Guide gave the 2013 year Fit all full red dot (very good) values for every trouble spot category and reliability in general. It also gets CR "Best Bet" rating. Translation: they think it's a damn good car.

I currently have ca. 85k miles on my '12 Fit, and the only things that have needed maintenance or repair so far have been consumables (wiper blades, tires, oil and filters, headlight bulbs, air filters), repair of minor body dings, recalls from Honda, and a replacement windshield due to a rock or something hitting it. My driver's "all weather" floor mat is looking somewhat shabby, too.

I don't think it can get much better than that for reliability, frankly.

2013 Fit Sport w/ 50K miles on it. Runs and looks like a top. I've done tires, brakes, wipers, air filters. I put Weathertech liners in the front so carpet is like new. I also change the tires/rims out in the winter with pre-mounted Yokahama snows on steel wheels.

I'm needing front brakes at this point... that's it! Great car, and the dogs love it!

Khaki (L) Lizzy (R) cruisin' in da Fit.

I do appreciate the responses. Probably, more than anything I appreciated reliability in a car. I like knowing that when I turn the key, it starts and I will get to my destination. And...the ability to have room for dogs, fishing rods, camping gear, etc. So...the Fit may very well serve its intended purpose. I paid it off quickly, so it is mine.

Have a '13 Fit Base with stick. Put new front brakes on it about a month ago. Has 35,800 miles on it. Replaced the original tires around 22,000 miles.

'13 Base MT here. No problems. Engine is kinda loud (injector noise?). Has been loud since approx. 7k mi. But no problems. My guess is you will do 150k on your Fit no big deal.

If it's like any other Honda I've owned, it'll last you thousands of trouble free miles. Other than a '91 CRX that was giving me fits until the distributor was fixed under a recall, ive only had routine tire, brake and oil change servicing. Since the age of 16, I've always had a honda in my garage. Don't know what I would do without one. Though rarely have I gone over the 80k mile mark in a car, I have the confidence that a honda would breeze right through 100k.

There have been plenty of other cars I've owned and you can pretty much tell when driving it off the lot that the quality (fit and finish) is just not up to par. A
Ot claim that the 2015 fits from Mexico have had issues above the norm, but ive never owned one of them.

I've got an '09 with 140k trouble free miles. Nothing but normal maintenance. Keep that thing if you want to save some money.

I appreciate all the replies. I spent yet another day car shopping and still have not found the value I feel I got in the Fit. The Fit has the space I need, the mpg I require, and hopefully the long term reliability. Plus....I have it paid off. The things I don't like are lack of ground clearance and the ride on the highway...being blown by wind, etc. But that doesn't bother me as much anymore. So, instead of trading off my Fit, I may just get me a used second vehicle to compensate for what I don't like on the Fit.

Honda's are good. My old '93 accord had 400k Kilometers on it when I sold it. I still see it on the road. I literally did no work other then brakes and a ball end. Wityh normal maintenance

My current Fit has 70k kilometers (44k miles) I still consider it new. 0 issues. Most work I had other then brakes was a wheel alignment. Heh (normal maintenance of course)
