Hello FitFreak!

I'm the proud new owner of a 2012 taffeta white Honda Fit Sport, with about 95K miles.

This is my first post, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone here: this forum was an invaluable resource as I searched for the perfect car.

To my question:

I currently live in Brooklyn, New York, and I'm terrified of someone smashing into my bumpers. I would like to protect them to the best of my ability.

The rear bumper is easy — I'm going to pick up a Bumper Bully or its equivalent. But I'm a little stumped on the front. There are small rubber guards that you can mount on your license plate, but I'd like something more substantial.

Has anyone installed a bull bar (push bar, nudge bar, cattle guard, etc.) on their Fit? Do they even exist? And if they do, is there one that doesn't look ridiculous? I've seen them occasionally on Fiats and Minis but couldn't find anything in FitFreak's archive or elsewhere on the Internet.

I vaguely recall another fit putting something like that on his fit. He also lived in New York (or maybe Jersey) and had some sort of bumper guards.

I don't remember the name, but you should be able to find his car thread in the photos section. His fit was Blue.

Unfortunately that wasn't the one I was thinking of.

I can't remember where I saw it. Either in the phots subthread or the "what did you do to your fit" thread.
